Membership Dues & Additional Donations

Annual Membership Dues

We have created an affordable Membership Dues structure which alone would raise $35,000 per year and get us off to a great start. All membership dues are tax deductible.
  • No dues - Current College Students
    (A fellow Parmer Scholar will contribute $5.00 per student to provide current students with a membership card.)
  • $25.00 - Recent Graduates
    (1-5 years after college graduation)
  • $50.00 - Early Career Graduates
    (6-10 years after college graduation)
  • $75.00 - Mid-Level Career
    (11-15 years after college graduation)
  • $100.00 - Earning Years
    (16-20 years after college graduation)
  • $200.00  - Prime Earning Years
    (21-40 years after college graduation)
  • $100.00 - Retirees with Substantial Annual Incomes
    (41+ years after college graduation)
  •  $25.00 - Retirees Living on Fixed Incomes and/or with Health Care Issues
    (41+ years after college graduation)

Donations Above Membership Dues

Contributions above the membership dues are always welcome and will be recognized at the following contributions levels (after dues are subtracted). Again, all contributions are tax deductible.
  • $100 - Contributing Member
  • $250 - Sustaining Member
  • $500 - Executive Member
  • $1000 - Patron Member
  • $2500 - Premier Member
  • $5000+ - Benefactor

Benefits of Membership
  • Satisfaction of continuing the legacy of our benefactor, Walter O. Parmer
  • Being a member of a nationwide organization, which provides opportunities to network with leaders of many professions, including excellent contacts for new graduates seeking intial employment or individuals seeking new employment (email contact@parmerscholars.org to obtain contacts)
  • Being a mentor for another Parmer Scholar
  • Enjoying the fellowship of 350+ scholars with similar backgrounds during our formative years
  • Attending annual reunions of Parmer Scholars; reunion sites to rotate each year from Greenville (birthplace of Walter O. Parmer), Auburn University, Vanderbilt University, and The University of Alabama
